Dermaplaning
A technique popularized since 1991 used for a quick physical exfoliation. This treatment removes a thin layer of dead skin and any unwanted facial hair. A dramatic change in skin texture and appearance is immediately noticeable.
Micropeel
This treatment helps to free pores of impacted debris. First, dead cellular layers are removed by dermaplaning or by using a papaya-based enzyme facial mask. Next, an alpha hydroxy acid is applied to the skin. Lactic and glycolic acids are naturally occurring alpha hydroxy acids (AHA's) found in fruits and other foods. AHA's are used in formulations to exfoliate or shed the surface skin. The extent of the exfoliation depends on the type and concentration of the specific acid. When applied a slight stinging sensation may occur but it is only momentary. After the desired level of exfoliation is reached, the solution is neutralized. Lastly, a skin type appropriate sun protection factor cream is applied.
Rejuevenating Facial
The ultimate in skin awakening, this facial will revive your skin and calm your mind. Your skin is first prepped by deeply cleansing under warm steam with skin type specific cleansing agents. Next, an enzyme mask, microdermabrasion cream scrub, or dermaplaning is performed dependant upon individual needs. Extractions may be performed if needed. A light chemical exfoliation of an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) or beta hydroxy acid (BHA) is applied momentarily and neutralized immediately. A skin specific facial mask will be used to assist with your skin's needs either for hydration, brightening, firming, or nourishment. This mask will be removed after appropriate penetration. Serums, moisturizers, and sun protection emulsions will lastly be applied.
Micropeel Plus
This peel is designed to refine uneven skin texture damaged by environmental factors and skin conditions such as acne. Available in two concentrations of salicylic acid, the Micro peel Plus program allows you to tailor your treatment to fit your skin type and long term goals. Salicylic acid, a beta hydroxy acid (BHA), is found naturally in willow bark, winter green leaves, and sweet birch bark. Formulations containing high concentrations of salicylic acid help slough off dead cells and debris while stimulating the skin's natural renewal process. For approximately one week after this procedure your skin will undergo the renewal process, shedding its dead outer layer. Depending on your skin you may or may not experience peeling of flaking. If peeling or flaking occurs it usually begins 2-4 days following your treatment and lasts for approximately 3 days. Mild itching or irritation can occur as well.
Microdermabrasion
For uneven, lack luster skin that requires more than a basic facial, microdermabrasion offers an exfoliation that smoothes and brightens the skin. This treatment polishes away dead cells using ammonium oxide crystals and a vacuum technique. It is customizable to your needs and tolerance. Microdermabrasion is an effective treatment for acne marks, environmental damage, blemish prone skin, and uneven texture. It can safely be performed on the face, neck, chest, arms, or back of hands. Included in this treatment is a thorough cleansing, extraction of impurities (if needed), an application of a skin specific facial mask, and finishing with medical grade emulsions and sun protection. Microdermabrasion treatments give the best results in a series, example: 1 weekly treatment for 5 consecutive weeks. A micro peel or chemical exfoliant may be added for an enhanced treatment and additional cost.
Acne Facial
An excellent facial for skin prone to oiliness and/or blemishes. Developed specifically for thorough pore cleansing and eliminating bacteria on the skin that can cause acne. This facial combines deep cleansing under warm steam, assessment and extractions of any superficial impurities, gentle exfoliation using a papaya based enzyme mask or an alpha or beta hydroxy acid, and the application of a calming facial mask. This treatment is excellent for reducing inflammation and healing blemish prone skin.
Omnilux™ Light Therapy
Omnilux™ was developed after 12 years of extensive medical research. Omnilux is a new technology based on narrowband Light emitting Diodes (LEDs). BOTOX ® Cosmetic
The cosmetic form of botulinum toxin, often referred to by its product name BOTOX® Cosmetic, is a popular non-surgical injection that temporarily reduces or eliminates frown lines, forehead creases, crows feet near the eyes and thick bands in the neck. Thank you for your interest in Ambe Private Client Formulas Skin Care. I am very excited to present to you what we consider to be a revolutionary skin care system. As a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon practicing in Newport Beach since 1998, I have had the good fortune of developing an Aesthetic surgical practice that has attained national recognition known to some of the most discriminating and recognizable people in the world.
Through my surgical practice as a Plastic Surgeon, I have a unique perspective to analyze skin not only from the surface, but from its undersurface and supporting structures as well. The original concept for developing this skin care system came out of what I saw as a void in the skin care industry. This was confirmed by the feedback I was receiving from my patients. They were frustrated that over the counter skin care products yielded marginal improvements at best, and they were troubled that the available prescription varieties came with potentially dangerous side effects. 10 years ago, I began creating formulas for our patients, whom were looking for a product to help facilitate their post-operative healing, potentiate and maintain their results, as well as stave off the need for any further surgical intervention. Our skin care team has worked tirelessly on creating a comprehensive multidisciplinary skin care system in collaboration with Dermatologists, Gynecologists (skin changes with hormonal fluctuations), Vascular Surgeons (to understand how the microscopic vasculature can be affected), and Chemists in the skin care industry.
Taking into account their perspectives, as well as mine, I used a scientific method to identify the factors which create the appearance of chronological aging and set out to address each underlying problem. AMBE products are engineered to correct the multiple factors that contribute to the appearance of aged skin: wrinkles and fine lines, dullness, pore size, creping, skin tone, dehydration, uneven pigmentation, age spots and rough texture. With continued use of the APCF system, it improves the appearance of each one of these factors.
The Ambe Private Client Formula System is NOT in any way similar to over the counter products currently available. One can view our products as close to medical grade as possible without a prescription. It is critical to realize that these formulations are extremely effective because they are very potent. We believe that their progressive engineering sets the new standard for skin care in the industry.
As you embark upon this exciting new journey, you will see and experience changes in your skin very quickly. The efficacy of the line is one of the most exciting aspects of this revolutionary system. While this is not a prescription, please do not over-use the amount nor frequency of the products beyond what is recommended in the package insert. Due to the strength of the formulations, a small percentage of patients may temporarily experience some mild irritation during the first few weeks of use. You may need to make minor adjustments in the amount used or switch to every-other day use until your skin adjusts. Additionally, I would like you to understand that some of the products may have a temporary residual feeling after you apply them, lasting for 3-10 minutes. This is to be expected as this system is nutrition based as opposed to traditional alcohol- based products which can strip your skin. I can assure you that after you adjust to the APCF system, you will wonder why you ever used anything else.
